The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the exam schedule for the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Recruitment 2025. The preliminary examination will be conducted on September 10, 2025, across 11 districts in Bihar.
The exam will be held in a single shift from 12:00 PM to 2:15 PM. Candidates must carefully check their allotted exam centre details once the admit card is released.
Exam Pattern: The preliminary test will consist of an objective-type General Knowledge paper with multiple-choice questions. The focus will be on general awareness, testing both speed and accuracy.
Number of Vacancies: This recruitment drive will fill 41 Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posts.

- Click on the “ASO Admit Card 2025” link on the homepage
- Log in using your registration number and date of birth
- Download and print the admit card
- Carry the admit card along with a valid ID to the exam centre.
Selection Process: The selection will be conducted in four stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Objective GK)
- Main Examination
- Interview
- Document Verification: Candidates must clear each stage to move to the next. While the prelims focus on GK, the mains will test descriptive and subject-specific knowledge.
