As per the concurrence of the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, the Central Board of Secondary Education would conduct the Al India Pre- Medical/ Pre-Dental Entrance Examination-2015 under 15% merit of Al India Quota seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges all over India except the States of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir for the academic session 2015-16 on the 3 rd May, 2015 (Sunday) in selected cites across the country and abroad.

The eligibility conditions, syllabus, pattern, etc. will remain similar to AIPMT 2014 as notified by the Medical Council of India which is available on website www.aipmt.nic.in.

The schedule for submission of application forms would be notified shortly.

JEE (Main) 2015 Last Date Extended

CBSE/JEE/2014-15

The last date of  online submission of application form of JEE (Main) – 2015 has been extended till December 26.

As per a notice from CBSE, in view of requests from various candidates/parents as well as schools, the date of online submission of application form of JEE (Main) – 2015 and uploading of images has been extended up to December 26, 2014 (11.59 PM). The fee may be paid by the candidates through credit/debit card up to December 27, 2014 (11.59 PM) & through e-challan up to 27.12.2014 (up to working hours of the banks). It is further informed that the other terms and conditions for filling up the application form will remain same.


The last date for filling up of application form JEE (Main) – 2015 will not be extended any further.

UPSC Declares Civil Services Prelims 2014 Results

The results of the civil services preliminary examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission were declared on Tuesday.

The Commission has advised candidates not to file RTI applications seeking details of their marks which would be provided to them after the entire selection process for the civil services examination is over.

"Candidates are also informed that marks, cut off marks and answer keys of civil services (preliminary) examination 2014 will be provided only after the entire process of the civil services examination, 2014, is over i.E. After the declaration of final result.

As many as 4,51,602 candidates had taken the civil services preliminary examination on August 24.

The UPSC has also declared results of successful candidates who have qualified for admission to Indian Forest Service (main) examination, 2014.

"All the qualified candidates are advised to fill up the DAF-Indian Forest Service and submit the same online for admission to the Indian Forest Service (main) examination, 2014 to be held from November 22, 2014. The DAF will be available on the website of the Commission from October 17 to October 31 till 23.59 hours," the UPSC said.

JEE Advanced to go online from 2016

At a meeting of the Joint Admission Board of IITs held on August 23, 2014 in New Delhi, the institutes agreed that JEE Advanced, which determines admission to all 16 IITs, should go completely online from 2016.

About 1.5 lakh students are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced exam. The online JEE Advanced will consist of Paper I and Paper II.

JEE Main has already gone partly online. The IITs own Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) for masters courses also offered at the institutes are also online.

The online JEE Advanced will continue to consist of Paper I and Paper II and will have to be taken on the same day.

XAT 2015 Entrance Exam Notification

XLRI Jamshedpur, one of the premier Indian business schools, has announced registration for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2015 to be held on January 4, next year. The last date for applying is November 22, 2014.

“The XAT exams for 2015 will be conducted on the first Sunday of January next year, i.e. 4th January, 2015. XAT, like every year, will follow the pen & paper format, in order to ensure equal opportunity to all candidates,” said Munish Thakur, Chairperson-Admissions at XLRI, in a press statement.

This year, XAT will be conducted in 47 centres across India. The test will also be held in two international cities, including Dubai and Kathmandu.

Eligibility: Candidates holding a recognised Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised university or a deemed university or completing their graduation by June 10, 2015 are eligible to appear for XAT.

Last year, 106 B-schools accepted the scores of XAT exam as part of their admission criteria.

UGC NET Exam on 29th June 2014

The University Grants Commission (UGC) is all set to conduct their National Eligibility Test (NET) for the June session on Sunday (June 29, 2014). This exam short list the candidates who wish to work at the post of Assistant Professor/Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

NET is scheduled to be held in 79 subjects and is bifurcated into three separate papers. The three papers will consist of 175 questions in all, wherein each question will carry two mark each. The objective-type multiple-choice question paper format will be followed. No negative marking is applicable.

The candidates should carry a photo identity card and the printout of the online admission card along. No log tables, mobile phones, pagers, electronic devices are allowed. The candidates should not write any question from the test booklet on the admission card or on any other paper. Also, the candidates will not be able to leave the examination hall before 11:30 am in the first session and before 3:30 pm in the second session.

1. Paper I (100 marks): The exam will consist of 60 out of which 50 question have to be attempted.
2. Paper II (100 marks): The exam will consist of 50 questions of which all are compulsory.
3. Paper III (150 marks): The exam will consist of 75 questions of which all are compulsory.

Delhi University admission process to begin Tuesday

Admissions to Delhi University's three-year undergraduate programmes will begin Tuesday as proposed by the committee of principals Saturday, a day after the controversial four-year programme was rolled back.

The dates for admissions was decided by the committee of principals which was constituted by Vice Chancellor Dinesh Singh Friday to decide on the modalities for admission.

University sources said this was the most feasible proposal.

As per the proposal, the cutoff will be declared by the varsity Monday and admissions will begin Tuesday.

Around 2.7 lakh applicants have applied for admission to 54,000 seats this year in Delhi University, one of the oldest and premier universities in the country.

As the university is going back to the 2012-2013 programme, the six B.Tech and bachelors of honours in management studies (BMS) courses will be rolled back and there will be no fresh admissions to them.

AIIMS Entrance Test for MBBS Programme for Session 2014-2015

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has conducted its entrance test for the MBBS programme for the session 2014-2015 on June 1, 2014. The results for the same are expected around June 25, 2014 as per official notification.

Roll numbers of candidates who qualify for admission will be displayed on notice board of Examination Section, AIIMS official website.

The entrance examination was held at 18 cities both in online and offline mode.

The candidate belonging to General category will be required to have 50 per cent minimum marks in the entrance examination to qualify. Those belonging to OBC category will be required to have minimum 45 per cent marks and those belonging to SC/ST Categories will be required to have at least 40 per cent minimum marks in the Entrance Examination.

AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2014

Bihar BSEB 12th (Intermediate) Exam Results 2014 Declared

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the results of the12th (Intermediate) exams 2014 for Science and Commerce stream. Students who had appeared for the examination can view their results by entering their roll code, roll number, passing year and stream on BSEB official website.

The  examinations for the Class 12th under BSEB began on February 15, 2014 with Biology and Entrepreneurship and ended on February 28, 2014 with Geography. The practical exams were held from March 18, 2014 to March 28, 2014. In total 981,778 students appeared in the exams meant for all the intermediate streams, i.e. Arts, Science, and Commerce. Among them, 41, 066 were girls.

Madhya Pradesh Board (MPBSE) Class 10 and Class 12 Results 2014

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) Class 10 and Class 12 exam results declared

This year a total of 18.17 lakh students were expected to appear for their class 10 and 12 examinations in March. While higher secondary (class 12) exams were taken by 6.87 lakh students, high school (class 10) examinations will be taken by 11.27 lakh students. CBSE Class 10 & Class 12 Results 2014 to be Declared Soon

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the results for Class 12 and Class 10 this month, a report said on Wednesday.

According to the report, Class 10 results will be declared on May 15 and Class 12 results will be declared on May 25.

However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.

Candidates can also receive their results through SMS also.

Class 12 and Class 10 results can be obtained through IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) also.

Rajasthan Board Class 12th Results 2014 Declared

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE ) Class 12 results for Science and Commerce stream declared.

In the science stream 1,75,384 students appeared and in commerce stream 69,523 students appeared in the RBSE examination 2014.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) - 2014

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability, that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

Eligibility:
Any person having passed SSC (Std X) or equivalent examination and above can appear for NATA. However, only candidates who have qualified an aptitude test in architecture and have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects, shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch. Course. No direct lateral admission is allowed at any year/stage of B.Arch. course based on any qualification. NATA score shall be valid for a period of two years from the year in which one appeared.

Test FEE:
NATA 2014 Registration Form can be filled and submitted online at website http://www.nata.in by paying fees of Rs. 1000.00 either through credit card / debit card / net banking or the candidate can generate the challan for depositing the payment through cash in any of the branches of the ICICI Bank all over India.

NATA Exam Schedule:
Nata Test shall be conducted in two Phases i.e. Phase – I from 14.03.2014 to 25.05.2014 and Phase – II from 01.06.2014 to 31.08.2014 and can be given during this period on any working day except national holidays at designated Test Centers. CBSE CTET-FEB 2014 Results Declared

CBSE CTET officials announced that the results for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2014 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on February 16, 2014 are expected to be released on March 21, 2014 at 6:30 PM. The results for both exams Paper-I, the qualifying exam for teaching Classes I - V (Primary Stage) and Paper-II, the qualifying exam for teaching Classes VI -VIII (Elementary Stage) will be declared on the official website.
